It can be daunting to think about teaching your young ones their letters. Relax 🙂 Kids learn so much through play and stories. There is no need to drill flashcards every day. Although flashcards do have a purpose, especially in play. 3. Pumpkin Day at the Zoo by Susan Meissner
This sweet picture book features an enclosure enrichment at the zoo. The animals get to chomp and play with pumpkins.
4. Cubs in the Tub by Candace Fleming
This is a true story of Helen Martini, the wife of a zookeeper, who takes in a cub and becomes the first female zookeeper at the Bronx Zoo. It’s a heartwarming tale that both children and adults will enjoy.
5. If Anything Ever Goes Wrong at the Zoo by Mary Jean Hendrick
