About the Mini Book: The Shamrock and The Holy Trinity

The Mini Booklet consists of 9 pages with two pages on each sheet. Use scissors to cut each page and staple the booklet together. There are lines on the far left side of the page to indicate staple placement. Provide one copy to each child. Encourage your child to read along and creatively color each page.

The mini booklet reinforces the catechism questions about the Holy Spirit. We use “Truth and Grace Memory Book 1” by Thomas K. Ascol. (I highly recommend this catechism book; it aligns closely with historic baptist beliefs).

Here are the three catechism questions I have included from the booklet:
  1. Are there more gods than one? -There is only one God.
  2. How many persons does this one God exist? – In three persons.
  3. Who are they? – God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit
I have used the following symbols:
  1. There is a crown to symbolize God the Father
  2. There is a cross to symbolize Jesus the Son
  3. There is a dove to symbolize the Holy Spirit

About the Shamrock Coloring Page

The coloring page features a large shamrock with three leaves. Each leaf is label with text and a symbol for a person of the Holy Trinity.

How can I use the free printables for St. Patrick’s Day?

Add these worksheets to lesson plans, circle time (small group), hands-on learning time, and St. Patrick’s Day unit study for a great way to enhance your kids’ or students’ language development.

Always supervise your children when playing with printables. Young children could chew on cards which can lead to choking.
